Shwedagon Pagaoda in Yangon, Myanmar
We were lucky enough to be at Inle Lake during their pagoda festival, where the Buddha statue is transported to each different temple every day by boat. The entire area is on the lake and accessible only by boat. This was a HUGE party!! We had so much fun hanging out and sharing food with some of the local kids.
On our second day at Inle Lake, we were blessed with the gift of a beautiful rainbow just as we pulled back up to our gorgeous floating bungalow.
We saw this vendor with his hand-carved slingshots at two different markets. He was very friendly with us and Shelley ended up buying him one of his favorite bisquits at the market.
